For the month of May (Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month), I was invited to be a Creator/Artist at the Nike Ascend Fest and Nike matched 2x my donation to OPIC (Oregon Pacific Islander Coalition) so I advertised my pet portraits to my coworkers and gave myself the goal to reach $500 to donate with my art at $10 per pet/human.
On May 26th, 2023, we donated $1000 to OPIC and Nike matched $2000 for a total of $3000!
This experience gives me the confidence to share my work more with the community around me and I am thankful for each person that commissioned me to draw their loved ones. Go May!
